Alexandra Palace has its own British Rail Station, fittingly called Alexandra Palace Station. It is located at the Wood Green entrance to the Park. A regular train service runs direct from Moorgate (weekdays only) or from Kings Cross, changing at Finsbury Park.
Wood Green is the nearest underground station on the Piccadilly Line. (journey time is 20 minutes from Piccadilly Circus). Exit Wood Green Station and go to bus stop A to pick up the W3 bus up the hill to Alexandra Palace.
Take the W3 bus from outside the station to Alexandra Ice Rink or Alexandra Palace Palm Court.
We have 1,200 complimentary parking spaces in the grounds, offered free of charge. These are all on a first come first served basis and cannot be booked in advance. Parking is split into 6 parking areas, with easy access to different areas of the park and its amenities. On busy days follow the directions on the map for extra parking in Wood Green.
There are disabled access parking spaces specifically for blue badge holders. There are dedicated accessible bays in the Grove Car park (250yard walk up a slight hill) and the East Car Park at the Ice Rink end of the building. There is a drop off point outside the Palm Court Entrance via the west slip road where staff will assist with directions. Spaces are available on a strictly first come, first served basis.
Please note that Wood Green is enforced by a controlled parking zone on all streets within two miles of Wood Green Tube Station. Please be considerate to our neighbours: do not park illegally on the streets and please leave the area quietly.
Alexandra Palace is a charity, run for the benefit of everyone. Our Park, Palace and spectacular events have been enriching lives since 1863, but the coronavirus pandemic has hit us hard. To be blunt, we are looking at a £1m shortfall this year and the same again next year. We know this time has been hard on many people but, if you can afford it, your support will help us get through this crisis.
